The Special Key is an item in Granny: Chapter Two.
Description[]
It is used to open the Special Lock, which is located in the TV Room, on the wall next to the Clock. Using the Special Key to open this lock will grant access to the Entrance and remove the bars blocking it on both sides. The Special Key only appears if Extra Locks is enabled. It is always required to escape by the Front Door and also sometimes required for the Boat Escape and Helicopter escape, as the Entrance Closet, with the Safe cannot be accessed without it, and sometimes contains items for the Boat and Helicopter, such as the Spark Plug, Gasoline Can, Helicopter Manual on the drawers or Padlock Key in the safe.
Locations Found[]
- Sewer Deck
- Master Bedroom - Middle Drawer
- Kitchen - Cupboard
- Attic - Cabinet
- Basement - Closet Bench
Appearance[]
The Special Key is an odd-looking metal crank with three branches. It spins itself, once placed in the Special Lock.
Trivia[]
- The sound of it spinning around in the hole is the same sound as the Battery moving the planks of the Main Door in the original Granny.
- When thrown, the Special Key makes the same noise as the Hand Wheel and the Wrench but also the same noise as the Engine Part, from the first Granny game.
- Granny and Grandpa are also unable to access the Entrance as long as the Bars aren't opened, making the Camera in this room and the first Control Screen temporarily useless.
