The Sewer Deck is a room in Granny: Chapter Two.
Description[]
The Sewer Deck can only contain a maximum of 3 key Items on 3 different presets, but it can be a very important room.
It is, however, very dangerous, since it only has one way to enter and leave, being the stairs, connecting it to the Basement Floor, where stumbling directly into Granny or Grandpa is a possibility, since they sometimes descend down the stairs on their own.
You can get to the sewer deck by opening the Sewer Door on the Basement Floor and descending down the two sets of stairs. It is located on the Sewer Deck floor, because it is on its own floor. The Boxes can be a hiding place, but not always reliable.
There is a 40% chance that an item will spawn here, the first one only appearing on Extreme Mode or with Extra Locks enabled, is the Special Key. The second one is the new Glass Fuse which also has a 20% chance of spawning on top of the Boxes as well, on Preset #3. The Duct Tape spawns on the fence in Preset #5. The Sewer Deck is also a very important room for the Boat Escape, because it is where the Boat itself is located. A total of 5 items is required to escape with it, including the Padlock Key, which is also required to open the Sewer Gate and allow the Boat to access the Sewer Tunnel when the Player escapes.
If you try to walk in the sewer water, the Water Monster, only hazard present in the room, will prevent them from running away and eat them alive, sending them to the next day, where they will surprisingly wake up in one piece. Grandpa will most likely sometimes come down here to visit the Monster. If you are putting items on to fix the Boat, a good idea is to close the door when you enter, since the door makes a different noise than the other doors in the House when opened. This allows you to know if Granny or Grandpa is coming down there.
Trivia[]
- Version 1.1.5 changed all the Sewer textures except the water, gate, and switch box.
- If the Player tries to throw an item in the water, it will re-appear and be dropped from the Pipe next to the Boxes that can be seen on the wall and fall to the floor, creating a noise that will alert Granny , or Grandpa if said item is the Vase. This is an intentional feature because otherwise, dropping an item in the water would mean losing it forever.
- In Version 0.8.3, you could glitch through the staircase to see the Sewer Deck from outside the map.
- A new version of this glitch was found in Version 0.8.4.
- If you throw something in the stream in the Backyard, it will come down here, so you can either get boat items down here, lure the Grandparents down here (Grandpa with the Vase), or both.
- Sometimes items can get looped to keep falling in the water and teleported to the pipe.
- The Sewer Deck is one of the three areas in the House that has a different ambiance, the others being the Balcony, the Backyard and the Attic. When entering the Sewer Deck, you will start hearing water rushing and dripping.
- This is the first time that both a Pet and an Escape Route are located in the same room.
- The Crowbar used to spawn here, up against the bottom crate, allowing the Player to open the crate in the basement and access the Stun Gun easier.
- It was moved to the Baby's Shed, but the Stun Gun moved to the Dining Room cabinet, making it a lot easier.
- The Special Key spawned and still spawns here meanwhile.
- In Version 1.1 and Version 1.1.5, it made this place more reliable for items again as now you can find the Glass Fuse or Duct Tape here, on the top crate.
- Version 1.1.5 made the Duct Tape spawn down here instead of on the bench with the Security Key and Special Key.
- In Nightmare mode, the water in the sewer deck appears to be in a blood-red color.
