Painting Pieces are items added in Version 1.1 of the game that are required to open the first part of the Attic path to the Helicopter area.
Description[]
There are three pieces in total and they are usually located in open places like tables, floors, beds etc and are required to be placed in a painting in the Attic to open the first locked door. The locations for each piece are randomized.
Appearance[]
They make up a picture of Grandpa in Total (similar to the Granny painting in the original game) and are scattered around the house.
Spawning[]
Locations for each painting piece are randomized. Here is where to search for them (For no confusion, Piece 1 is the bottom, piece 2 is the middle, and piece 3 is the top):
Painting Pieces | Location 1 | Location 2 | Location 3 |
---|---|---|---|
Piece 1 Locations | Dining Room - On the floor next to the Security Room entrance | Master Bedroom - On the bed | Underground Tunnel - In the middle of the floor |
Piece 2 Locations | Dining Room - On the table | Bathroom - On the toilet basin | TV Room - On the table |
Piece 3 Locations | Backyard - On the Baby’s Territory, on the floor close to the stream | Dining Room - On the table | Guest Bedroom - On the bed |
Trivia[]
- Unlike its counterpart in Granny, the Painting Pieces are used to escape instead of earning a bonus day.
- Piece 3’s Location 1 is the only painting piece location to be located behind a puzzle, being the Water Stream which needs the Wrench used to cross.
- The painting shows Grandpa appearance on the PC version.
