Just like in the first Granny game, items in Granny: Chapter Two, as of Version 1.1.10, or Version 1.2.1, have 5 different Presets (also called Positions) so that the game decides where they are going to be placed during your playthrough. When you install/download the game and play it for the first time, you start with Position #1, then the others follow in the logical order of 2, 3, 4 and 5 and then it restarts and goes back to 1. Note that 2 different item locations cannot fuse, for example, the Stun Gun cannot be found in the Master Bedroom's Middle Drawer (Position #1) if you have already found the Safe Key on the Drawer right above. (Position #4). Also, since the Version 1.1 update, there are now 3 new presets which only affect the painting pieces and Grenades Box; they do not come in a specific order, but randomly, which is why the 3 painting pieces and the box containing the 3 Grenades don't appear in the Preset Tables listed below. However, 3 new tables are now available.

The meat position is randomized and doesn’t correspond to any preset whatsoever, even mini presets.
However, the meat will always be in the Kitchen of the house.

General Presets[]
General Presets are manually placed arrangements of select items in the game. When you first boot up the game, you will always receive Preset 1, and then you will then numerically cycle through the next five presets every game, which will then loop back to Preset 1 (ex. Preset 4 > Preset 5 > Preset 1.)
