The Helicopter Key is an item in Granny: Chapter Two.
Description[]
The Helicopter Key is a key item required for Helicopter Escape only. Its only purpose is to start the Helicopter once it has been fully repaired, after using both the Gas Can on the Fuel Tank and the Duct Tape on the broken propeller, and escape. The Helicopter Key needs to be held in the Player's hand when they enter the Cockpit and press the "Engine Start" button, just like the Boat Key during Boat Escape. The Key can be used even if the Player hasn't picked the Helicopter Manual up, that is however not recommended as doing so will result in crashing the Helicopter sending it back on its Balcony but flipped sideways and impossible to use again.
Appearance[]
The Helicopter Key appears as a gray, airplane-shaped crank with a round hold on one of its sides. It has a metal tip, presumably shaped to fit in the Helicopter's starter. It is unknown if DVloper designed it like a plane on purpose, possibly referencing the fact that the Helicopter is a flying object as well, or not.
Trivia[]
- When dropped, it makes the same noise as the Remote Control from the previous Granny game.
- It is the first item in the game that doesn't 100% make the Player escape, provided that they actually have the choice to not pick up the Helicopter Manual.
- The Weapon Key also looks like a crank, just like the helicopter key.
