The Duct Tape is an item in Granny: Chapter Two. It is used to repair the Helicopter's propeller.
Description[]
The Duct Tape was added in Version 1.1 of the game is only required for the Helicopter Escape route, as one of the last steps of the escaping procedure. It is part of the two fixing steps of the Helicopter, along with filling its Tank up with the Gasoline Can. Its only purpose is to repair the bent propeller, by straightening it back to a normal position (producing a sizzling noise) so that it can spin normally and allow the Helicopter to fly up, and escape. The Player also appears to use all of the Tape's content to fix the propeller, as it disappears when used, not even leaving the small cardboard cylinder in the middle.
How to Use[]
Fix the helicopter blade by holding the duct tape and pointing your camera at the bend in the blade.
Appearance[]
The Duct Tape appears as a gray, cylinder-shaped roll of sticking plaster with a smaller, thin cardboard cylinder in the center with the words "TAPE" printed on the middle of the hole of it.
Trivia[]
- It is unlikely that the Player would use a Duct Tape to repair a Helicopter propeller, as it normally isn't sufficient to resist its spinning speed when activated. The choice that DVloper made when adding this item into the game seemingly wasn't meant to be realistic. Though, it may be based on that expression: "duct tape can fix anything!".
- It's unknown what the Duct Tape is actually used for.
- The Duct Tape used to spawn on the Basement shelf along with the Security Key and Special Key, but it was moved to the Sewer Deck in Version 1.1.5.
