The Door Bars is a lock in Granny: Chapter Two.
It is required to be unlocked on all difficulties, but only if you choose to use the door escape. It is unlocked with the Hand Wheel, by placing it on the Crank Shaft, in the Basement and rotating it by pressing the spinning icon. When lifted up, the Door Bars produce a squeaking noise, implying that it hasn't been opened in a very long time, which alerts Granny but not Grandpa to the Entrance, where the Front Door is. On Hard and Extreme difficulty, or if you are playing with Extra Locks enabled, you will not be able to lift the Door Bars up directly, because the Screw Lock will stick then in their locked position. It can however be unscrewed, using the Wrench.
Appearance[]
It appears to be dirty, rusty old metal bars linked together in a grid fashion. The texture used on the bars are a dirt texture.
Trivia[]
- In Practice Mode, a small Door Note with randomized messages (unlike the original Granny) written by Granny or Grandpa can be found on the Door Bars
- There is probably no animation for the door bars being lifted, given that the player will never be able to get upstairs fast enough to see it happen
- The Door Bars is the second lock that has to be opened on a different floor, while the first one is the Electric Lock.
