Granny Chapter Two Wiki

Just like in the first Granny game, Creaking Floors are a hazard in Granny: Chapter Two. When you step on a Creaking Floor, it will create a creaking sound that alerts Granny and leads her to your location, you have to either hide or knock Granny out.

Locations[]

Currently, there are 4 Creaking Floors:

  • Main Door hallway
  • Living Room
  • Kitchen
  • Upstairs hallway between the Dining Room the Security Room

How to avoid[]

  • The Creaking Floor in front of the Main Door can be avoided by walking closer to the Main Door. Be careful to not electrocute yourself if you've used the Hand Wheel but haven't turned off the electricity yet.
  • The Living Room Creaking Floor is quite problematic as the it is located in front of the armchair and the only way to avoid it is by hugging the wall on the left, which can be dangerous as there is a Table and Vase located very close to the wall, which can be easily knocked over and alert both Granny and Grandpa.
  • The Kitchen Creaking Floor would only be a hazard if one is trying to access the Microwave from the staircase, as it is located between the Microwave & the Window. Simply, go round the other way past all the cabinets to get to the Microwave. However, the Microwave already alerts Granny regardless of the Creaking Floor so you should have a backup plan or make sure she is far enough away.
  • The last Creaking Floor is located in front of the wall leading up to the Master Bedroom, before the Small Table. To avoid, just hug the wall round the other side (the Security Room side) and be careful of the Lamp located there.
  • The only difficulty that has no creaking floors is Easy Mode

Trivia[]

  • Grandpa cannot hear the Creaking Floors.
  • Just like it's counterpart in Granny, the Creaking Floors' sizes are expanded and unavoidable on Extreme (except for the one in the main room, which can be avoided).
  • The creaking floors in Grandpa's House sound different than the ones in Granny's house.
