The Boat Steering Wheel is an item in Granny: Chapter Two.
Description[]
It is only required for the Boat Escape and is used to fix the Boat, in the Sewer Deck. It has to be placed on the Boat's dashboard, on the small crank shaft found on the right. It cannot be interacted with or picked up, once placed and isn't used by the Player to change the Boat's direction in the Boat Escape Ending Cutscene, but it is still required to escape anyway, presumably for driving the Boat later in the sewer system. It is one of the 4 Boat Items present in the game, the others being the Boat Key, the Gasoline Can and the Spark Plug. The Padlock Key could potentially be part of that list, but isn't, because it is also required for the Front Door Escape. Note that the Boat Steering Wheel is a rather hard item to drop in small spaces such as the gutter in the Water Stream.
Appearance[]
The Boat Steering Wheel appears as a large, round-shaped wooden volant with three metal bars connected to a wooden middle, supposed to be placed on the Boat's dashboard's crank shaft.
Trivia[]
- When dropped, the Boat Steering Wheel makes the same noise as the Door Handle, oddly.
- "Boat Steering Wheel" is a long name. DVloper could've just called it "Boat Volant" or simply "Volant".
- The Boat Steering Wheel could spawn in the Backyard in Version 1.0. After Version 1.1, it was moved to the Labyrinth area.
- Before that, it spawned in the Guest Bedroom, pushed against the wall.
